Crafty Individuals Spotlight - APPRECIATE WHAT IS Canvas, Our Creative Corner

=====

HOWDY from Joi@RR!

It's gorgeous at the ranch today - spring is in full bloom and the garden is growing.  We have been eating green and yellow garden goodies - the red ones aren't ready yet!!!

An armadillo jumped into our 4' high box and ate all our beets.  We chased him away by putting cayenne pepper on the dirt!!

Then a Mama rabbit decided to make her nest under our squash plants....now there were SIX!!!

I have been having fun playing with some fabulously amazing CRAFTY INDIVIDUALS stamps & masks.

I was honored to be asked to do the Sponsor Spotlight as a Design Team member for Our Creative Corner

Below are the three wonderful Crafty Individuals products I used.

Flower Heads - Rubber Stamp, Code CI-206
A Walk In The Park - Rubber Stamp, Code CI-439
Leafy Branches Mask, Code CI-MASK23-LB

(Yes, I cut the 'Leafy Branches' Mask to use it!!)

It would be super fine if you would go to Our Creative Corner (just click on the title) to see my step by step tutorial.
Hoping you will like my creation for Crafty Individuals.

You will be surprised to know that I began with a napkin.
Just a bit unusual for me (the canvas painter)!
But, never fear, I DID use a canvas!!!

Here are a couple of sneak peeks for you too!!!

Yes - I HAD to use some crackle and glitz!!!

Thanks bunches to Crafty Individuals and Our Creative Corner for giving me this opportunity to play with such nice quality stamps and masks. It was a grand adventure in creativity for me!

And thank all of you for joining me on my blog today!

If you go to see my project... you will find out why I say: "APPRECIATE WHAT IS"

Big Hugs. j.

Morning Joi! I can't believe this started as a napkin, what a brilliant idea! As usual, your colours and wonderful flowers have whisked me away to a magical garden, wow!!!!!! Now about those baby rabbits, I am completely jealous that you have baby rabbits in your garden, what an amazing thing to witness! I do hope you will keep an eye on them and post lots of pictures as they grow and venture from the nest to explore our big world! Fabulous post my friend, happy Sunday! hugs :)

Joi, you are having WAY too much fun - I love it. I'm totally enamoured with your test drives, and totally get the napkin thing. I use them a lot in different starts and love the background they can create. Happy painting, my friend. xo

I love seeing the photos of your ranch Joi so much space and so beautifully kept. How wonderful to have the animals visit you although I guess not when they eat all your plants but the baby rabbits look so sweet. Spring turned into summer for the last three days here, it's been amazingly hot, hope that isn't summer finished now lol. Off to explore more of your creative genius.
Have a great week.

Hi Joi!!! I've been AWOL for a couple of weeks!! Lots of lovely family stuff going on. Anyway, I loved seeing the photos of your beautiful ranch! Next to birds, I adore bunnies so of course, the photos of the baby bunnies had me oooing and ahhing. Your art using the Crafty Individuals pieces was very cool. Love how bright colored it was and how you used that napkin to create such a neat little scene. Love the crackled walkway and the gorgeous flowers surrounding it. Your art is so fun, so happy and so colorful. It makes me smile just to look at it. And you are such a positive person...I love reading your blog posts! I also wanted to thank you for the sweet comment you left on my blog. You are so sweet!

Wow, Joi, your soil sure is fertile--6 babies! Forgive my tardiness, but this one slipped by me during a particularly busy time for me. I came back to your blog to look for that flag post, but still can't find it. No worries, though, because I found this beauty, and I hopped over to OCC for a closer look! Amazing that your colorful canvas evolved from this napkin! As always, your work is so full of life and fun! I love the beautiful flowers on this and the amazing crackle!

It is hot hot HOT here in NC, and the garden seems to be slowing down. Still no tomatoes yet, but they are the biggest I've seen! As luck would have it, we will more than likely be away when they ripen! We've had just a handful of cukes, green beans and a good amount of summer squash and only 3 zucchini! When I lived up north, I had so many zucchini. Gardening here is just not that much fun! But visiting your ranch, although virtually, is loads of fun! Big hugs to you!
