Howdy Artsy Friends!!!

This is my first post for the:
DecoArt Media International Design Team!

Yes, I am a bit nervous, but more than that...
just pinching myself - still believing it's true.
When I see my project on DecoArt - I will believe!!!!

We have a beautiful garden at the ranch and part of it includes some incredible Bougainvilleas which the butterflies love!

Watching the dance of the flowers with the butterflies this spring inspired me to create this Bougainvillea Butterfly canvas!!

Here is a sneak peak for you and I sure hope you will hop over to the DecoArt Media blog and check out my step by step tutorial!

Thanks bunches for being here on my 1st DecoArt Media DT post...there is no one I would rather share it with than all of you.
You are the ones that encouraged me and believed in me.
I KNOW it and I don't take any of you for granted.
Big Hugs. joi

P.S. YES... Hubby made the incredible cedar planters for the Bougainvilleas.  NO... I do not keep up that huge garden. We have ranch hands that do it for us. And we have a gal with a green thumb too!!! We share the food with them and all of the guests that come for meetings at our ranch retreat center.

Joi, it is there now and it is absolutely stunning!! You have reminded me of holidays in Greece where Bougainvillea is more prevalent than here in the UK!! Hugs, Anne xx

OK, Joi, I've been over to see the complete project, and I have to say that this is one amazing canvas, and you have aced that wood railing! Your bougainvilleas are so rich in color and your style came through loud and clear on this GORGEOUS canvas! Can you tell I'm at a loss for words on this one? I am head over heels in love with your "wood"!

I am also head over heels and just a teensy bit jealous of your fabulous garden. I'm a little relieved to learn you have ranch hands and a green thumb gal to tend it! Now I'm jealous of HER! Tell your talented and wonderful hubby he did a fabulous job on those planters and he obviously is in love with you to burnish that lovely name into the side!

I'm a little curious about these meetings that are being held at the ranch, and would love to attend! Fresh veggies from the garden are served! Wow! I like to share from my garden, too, but I'm afraid I'm not feeding the masses from my little patch! I'm trying to convince my hubby we need raised beds, but he likes me to garden the old fashioned way. Our native soil is horrible, and no amount of organic matter has been helpful yet. Well, I have more planting to go, so I better not rattle on anymore!

congratulations again, Joi! DecoArt was sooooo smart to scoop you up! Hugs!
